Visiting the website
The website runs on our own server in Germany (provider: ZAP-Hosting). When you visit it, the web server stores your IP address, date and time, the requested address, referrer and browser identifier in log files. This serves secure operation and the defence against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days.
We use no cookies, no tracking and no analytics. Fonts and videos are served from our own server; no data is sent to Google or other services.
Buying with PayPal
For payment we forward you to PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg), which processes your payment data under its own responsibility. PayPal sends us the order ID, transaction ID, amount and the email address of your PayPal account. We store them together with the plan and the licence key to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and keep them for ten years because of statutory retention duties (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, § 147 AO).
Licence checks in the tool
When you redeem a key and every 10 minutes while you use it, Larx sends your licence key, a hash of your hardware identifier and the tool version to our server. We store your IP address and the time of the last check. This is needed to bind the licence to one PC, check its time and prevent misuse (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The hash cannot be turned back into your hardware details. The data is deleted twelve months after the licence ends.
Recovering keys and downloads
When you enter a transaction ID and email or request a download, we only use these details to give you your key or the file. Failed attempts are logged with the IP address to prevent misuse.
Discord and TikTok
We link to our Discord and TikTok channels with plain links. No data is transferred until you click one. The privacy policies of those providers apply there.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to us at the address above. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
